In the early hours of the morning Toddla T played one of my tracks on Radio One. This was the first official time I have been played on Radio One so as you can understand I tuned in live and got very gassed up (running around the room, dancing etc).

Anyway, thank you very much to Toddla and Serocee for hooking a brother up, I’ve got the audio rip right here for you to listen to.

April Supporter Update

have just three pieces of information I’d like to relay to you so stay with me through this. We’ll get there together.

Firstly and most important. Myself and fellow artist Zuby are embarking on our first full UK tour fondly named The Black and Purple Tour. We’d love to see you along for one of the shows in the area especially as this tour has been arranged, funded and run between the two of us!

Basically we want to show that you can suceed without the music industry but we definitely can’t do that without your help so have a look at the dates below, grab your ticket and come party with us.

Secondly, as you know I’m working on my album which I hope to bring out this year. Ahead of that though I’ve decided to release a new short EP just to tide you over with some songs to enjoy before the album.

Most notably it’ll have the new BullSpit single on there. More info about this soon. But I’m aiming for a release around June time.

Lastly myself and a few other independent street artist filmed a video response to Jump Off TV’s video debate on whether Independent Rappers were becoming Terrorists.

I’d definitely like your input on the debate, you can watch the video Right Here.

Be warned though, there is a lot of swearing in it. But also a lot of valid points raised. The video has already had over 500 views in 24 hours.

So just a quick announcement, I’ve decided to release a new EP before my first album.

It’ll include the new single BullSpit and will be available on iTunes and from myself on the street.

Are Independent Rappers Turning Into Terrorists?

So this all started from an argument on twitter. Long story short an industry ‘taste maker’ wrote on her twitter feed “Can someone make a t shirt that says No Fam I don’t want your mixtape”.

When I questioned her on the comment it launched a full scale argument.

After some research it transpired that she’d recently been involved in a Jump Off TV debate entitled ‘Are Independent Rappers Turning Into Terrorists?’. One of her key comments was “Don’t give me your CD, I’ll use it to scoop up my dog’s sh*t”.

With poisonous opinions like this coming from people who were supposed to represent the music industry, AC, Zuby, Daley, Genesis Elijah, Terra Slim and myself filmed a response to the initial debate video.

With over 500 views in a day it looks like people are joining the debate.

The Black and Purple Tour

So this is the official joint UK tour from me and Zuby. We’ll be travelling around the country and hopefully performing in a town near you.

If any of the locations are near you come through and have a good time, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve effectively planned, arranged and funded this entire tour between the two of us. Ultimately we’re trying to prove that it is possible to succeed and tour without the help of a major record label, but we can only do that with your help.

Today I will be filming the music video for my next single, BullSpit.

I’m working with Haberdasher’s Askes Hatcham College Orchestera, filming with Limetree Video Production and working with very talented opera singer Phillipa Lusty.

So with so much serious talent around I decided I’d need to get serious too.

This is what I’ll be wearing for the music video shoot.

I know, I look like a frickin BAWSE.
